The Orlando Magic roster will look different following Thursday’s 2018 NBA Draft.

But how much different?

Will Magic decision-makers be content to hold onto their three picks — No. 6, No. 35 and No. 41 overall — and draft accordingly? Or will the team’s brain trust attempt to move up from No. 6 and, to accomplish that goal, trade away one of their veteran players?

Magic President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman said Monday his team is having exploratory trade talks, although he indicated similar talks occur before every draft as a part of the team’s due-diligence efforts.
